A call to action—aka a Facebook confessional

Did you know that East Edit is on Facebook as well as Twitter?

If not, you should.

Please like us on Facebook (and in general, really)!

I used to hate social media.

I shut down my Facebook at least once a quarter. My LinkedIn still lives in 2007 and I thought Twitter was what birds did when they were estivating.

On the other hand, Rory (or @eastedit, when he’s at home) is a pro. Lots o’ friends. And he keeps telling me to step up.

This resulted in me shutting down my Twitter in a fit of pique (why must everyone tweet so, while I’m trying to think?), waving my arms about the ills of social media and carrying on about the awesomeness of books that smell nice.

In this process, I have become the keeper of East Edit’s Facebook and can consign my Twitter account to The Onion.

Read all of East Edit’s blogs, find out about our courses and see my random musings on the state of plain English, words of the day and human rights.

Please like me!
