Hello people of the internet!

Much has been happening, leaving very little time to do fun stuff… Like writing esoteric posts about diabolical chilli sauce adventures—coming soon! (Did you know birds are unaffected by chilli? Only mammals feel The Heat. I’m not sure about reptiles…)

I’m speaking about accessibility at the Queensland Business Writers’ Conference on 25 August. That should be fun. As a warm-up, with Minnie’s help, I’ve published a page giving a bit of an overview of what accessibility is, and what you need to do to make your content accessible. But that’s just the start…

In other news, I’ve booked a place—we have hard dates (17–18 August) for our next public (i.e. not in-house) web-writing course. It’s a room with a view—the 17th floor looking out over the Brisbane River. (Though, no looking out the window when I’m waving my hands emphatically, and scribbling on the whiteboard!) You can pre-register (I know, ‘register before you register’…) before I get the terms and conditions sorted in order to get the official registration page up. This course is limited to 12 people, and 2 places are already taken, so if you want to come along, you’d better get in quick.
